  • When should I book my photoshoot?
    1 - 3 months in advance. This time allows us to properly plan your photo, video and drone session. Gather any props, acquire any permits that may be needed and schedule a consultation with you. Also, our availability is limited, advanced booking allows you a better chance of booking the dates you are aiming for.
  • Do you require a deposit?
    Yes. A deposit of 50% of your session price is required at booking. This deposit is non-refundable, at no additional cost and will be put toward end payment. Your deposit confirms your shoot date.
  • Do you offer consultations?
    Yes. We strive for client experience exellence and that starts the moment we meet. To best serve you and your shoot needs, we will schedule the initial call to give you an idea of questions we have. Then schdule a time to meet for an in-person consultation. Zoom meetings are available for destination and travel clients.
  • What do I wear to my photoshoot / videoshoot / droneshoot?
    Choosing the right outfits for your photo, video and or drone shoot can be stressful. We are here to help guide you along this experience from start to finish. During your consultation we will address your wardrobe options and give you guidance with examples and color palettes. Here are a few helpful Erin & Jake blog posts that can help you get jumpstarted:
  • When do I book my Maternity Session?
    You will want to book your maternity session 1-3 months in advance. Your maternity session shoot date should fall between 30 - 36 weeks. This will usually result in the most flattering photographs as your bump will be nice and round at this stage, but not so heavy that you feel overly tired and uncomfortable.
  • When should I book Erin & Jake for Wedding Photography, Cinema and Drone?"
    Wedding vendors should be booked one year in advance to ensure your vendors aren't already booked. This will give you time to plan your engagement session, boudior gift shoot, order any prints you would want to display as wedding decor etc.
  • How long until I see my photos and video?
    Our goal is always to return your photos and video as soon as possible. A time frame for your photos and video will be provided after your session. We will have an accurate timeline based off how many photos and how much footage was shot and needed to be edited.
  • How long has Erin & Jake been working together?
    Erin & Jake is a husband and wife photography, videography and drone duo. We have been together for 12 years, married for 7. We began shooting together almost immediately after we met and formally started our business in 2010.
  • Are digital images included?
    All photo packages include web-ready digtal images with a small non-invasive Erin & Jake watermark. Web-ready images without an Erin & Jake watermark and high resolution digital files are available for purchase during your design session.
  • What is a design session?
    A design session is an in-person meeting where we present your professionally edited photogallery and your slideshow played to music. We walk you through how to use your online gallery and order fine art prints, albums, folioboxes and any digital photos you may want. Your design session will be scheduled after your photos are ready.
  • Do you offer prints?
    Yes! We offer custom framed fine art prints, wrapped canvas, custom framed canvas, and metal prints.
  • What heirlooms products do you offer?
    We believe in heirlooms, in made to last, and an unparalleled, personalized experience that begins the first moment we meet. We offer hand crafted custom albums, custom folio boxes and custom crystal USB drives.
  • How long do you keep our photos archived?
    Your online gallery is hosted, privately, on our website for two weeks. You will have to option to purchase additonial hosting time after those two weeks. After your gallery is removed, we archive your complete gallery set for one year.
  • What will happen to our photos after 1 year?
    When your gallery hits its one year anniversary, we will contact you via email. You will have the opportunity to make any final decisions before we permanently remove your gallery from our archives.
  • Do I own rights to the photos taken of me?
    No. Photos and video content are considered intellectual property because they are the results of our creativity. That means Erin & Jake Photography is the copyright owner unless a contract says otherwise.
