A decade-long creative collaboration documenting Tatiana Erse’s evolving career through album artwork, artist portraits, promotional content and live performance coverage. Across ten years, Erin & Jake created photography and video that supported each new chapter of her music and visual identity.
The Story
Tatiana Erse is a Los Angeles-area singer, songwriter and guitarist whose music crosses rock, alternative, acoustic and singer-songwriter influences. Over the course of a decade, Erin & Jake worked with singer-songwriter Tatiana Erse to create album artwork, artist portraits, promotional content and live-performance photography and video—building an evolving visual library that supported her music across releases, websites, social media and live promotion.

The Creative Approach
Rather than treating each shoot as an unrelated assignment, we approached the work as an evolving visual record of Tatiana’s music and growth as an artist. Our portrait and album-artwork sessions focused on creating imagery that felt connected to Tatiana’s sound, personality and position as a performer.
Each production was planned around the specific purpose of the content. Album artwork needed to carry the identity of a release, while promotional portraits needed to remain flexible enough for websites, social media, show announcements and press.

From Portraits to Live Performance
Studio and location portraits show how an artist wants to be presented. Live-performance photography reveals who that artist becomes onstage.
As our work with Tatiana expanded, we also photographed and filmed her performances. These assignments required a different visual approach: anticipating movement, working with constantly changing stage lighting and capturing moments that communicated the energy of the show.
