Humboldt County Engagement Photoshoot With Brigid and Gus
April 2023, Erin and Jake Wedding Photography took a 12 hour road trip from Los Angeles to Humboldt County to photograph Brigid and Gus's engagement photos amongst the redwoods.
On engagement photoshoot day, we met Brigid and Gus at Sequoia Park in Humboldt where we walked around the beautiful trails and enjoyed the beautiful light coming through the redwood trees.
Along the redwood forest paths, Brigid and Gus told us how they met in the local gym while rowing on an erg. Gus approached Brigid and asked her on a date. The rest all fell into place easily as they fell head over heels in love with each other.
From Sequoia Park we hoped next door to the sequoia park zoo skywalk! The four of us enjoyed visiting the animals in the zoo before climbing up to adventure around the skywalk. To date, one our all time favorite engagement photoshoot locations.
Walking amongst the top of the redwoods, along the skywalk, Brigid and Gus shared their wedding day plans. Their wedding would be held at The Lost Whale Inn in Trinidad California on September 16th 2023.
